Open LMS Connected 2023: Our First Face-to-Face Event Is Coming Soon!
Our first in-person Open LMS Connected conference is only a month away—and we couldn't be more excited! Connected 2023 is built for connection. The aim of our time together at Connected is to facilitate collaboration, networking, discussion, and discovery over three days of digital learning exploration at the Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort in Phoenix, Arizona Tuesday, February 28 through Thursday, March 2.
Our agenda features workshops, keynotes, panel discussions, and breakout sessions, allowing attendees to engage with the content, speakers, sponsors, the Open LMS team, and their fellow attendees in a variety of different ways. We’ll also provide those who are joining us some time to relax and refresh, with activities such as sunset hiking across the Tapatio Cliffs, sunrise yoga with yoga professional and Open LMS team member, Kara Volpe Conger, and a beautiful networking night by the pool.
Introducing A Stepping Stone Foundation
We also wanted to give back to the Arizona community during our time there and once we learned about what A Stepping Stone Foundation does locally, we knew we’d found a fantastic cause to support.
A Stepping Stone Foundation helps children and families at most risk of failure at school due to low literacy in their home environment. Their approach is multi-generational: children attend a high-quality preschool program, their parents attend English and/or GED preparation classes, while younger siblings attend a nurturing childcare setting. Additionally, teachers visit each home at least once a month to practice family learning activities and discuss progress.

We’ll also have a few alumni from A Stepping Stone Foundation joining us on-site for a speaking session as well!
