Open LMS’s Inaugural eLearning Conference Kicks Off February 28
Open LMS Connected 2023 is for online training, education and learning professionals to hear best practices, network with industry professionals, and connect with Open LMS leadership.
Raleigh, N.C. (Feb. 15, 2023) 𑁋 Open LMS, a leading provider of open-source learning management systems (LMS), is gearing up to host its inaugural in-person conference, Open LMS Connected 2023. The event will be held at the Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort in Phoenix, Arizona, from February 28th to March 2nd, 2023. Connected 2023 is built for connection. The conference's overall goal is to facilitate collaboration, networking, discussion, and discovery over three days of digital learning exploration. The agenda features workshops, keynotes, panel discussions, and breakout sessions that will allow attendees to engage with expert speakers, Open LMS leaders, and their fellow attendees. Attendees can expect to expand their knowledge, gain inspiration from their industry peers, and challenge themselves to tackle their goals from new directions.

Open LMS is also connecting with the local community. A Stepping Stone Foundation provides multi-generational learning to families across two school districts in Phoenix, including preschool classes, childcare, adult education, and parenting classes. Participants are identified as families whose children are most at risk of school failure due to low literacy in the home environment. Through A Stepping Stone Foundation, children attend a high-quality preschool program while their parents attend English and/or GED preparation classes and younger siblings attend a nurturing childcare setting. A Stepping Stone Foundation is transforming lives and fostering a lifelong love of learning.
“As soon as we learned about what A Stepping Stone Foundation does locally, we knew we’d found a fantastic cause to support,” said Miller. “Open LMS will provide up to $5,000 USD in funding for the foundation to be used for STEM-focused education scholarships. It’s an honor for us to be able to partner with a wonderful organization that uses education to impact children, their families, and the entire Phoenix community. Our goal is to have an impact on education in the place where we gather.”
Connected 2023 will feature more than 30 different sessions, workshops, keynotes, and forums presented by a hand-picked lineup of speakers known for their depth of experience and ability to innovate.
