The relaunched Open LMS Academy replaces fee-and cohort-based courses with a modern, on-demand experience. All Academy courses are now self-paced, allowing participants to move through structured learning paths at a speed that fits their schedule.

At launch, Open LMS Academy introduces two foundational courses: “Admin Orientation: Master the Engine of Your LMS,” and “Instructor Orientation: Design Engaging Learning Experiences.” These guided learning pathways help new users quickly get up to speed with the Open LMS platform based on their current roles or desired upskill pathways.

The “Admin Orientation” course provides a structured introduction to core site management tools and workflows, while the “Instructor Orientation” course equips educators and trainers with a clear understanding of the platform’s teaching tools and functionalities.

Together, these courses fill a critical training gap for institutions by offering a scalable, repeatable onboarding experience. Organizations can now accelerate administrator readiness, empower instructors, and create internal pathways for upskilling, all without the need for scheduled sessions or facilitator coordination.

Recordings of each session are housed within the Academy’s dedicated Open Office Hours courses, ensuring on-demand access for those unable to attend live.
